With rising business and consumer demands and the ever-changing technological landscape, the demand for Software Engineers is constantly on the rise. At Dev10, we help our associates launch their career in the ever-growing tech industry as Software Engineers and Data Engineers. Our associates enter the industry through Dev10 from a wide variety of college majors. Our associates have degrees in accounting, physics, economics, political science, psychology, and many more!

Briefly describe your role at work and key duties and how it supports the mission or goal of the organization.

Dev10 was created to provide an opportunity for those who want to break into the technology industry as a Software Developer but lack the skills or experience to get there on their own, and their key role at work reflects that goal. Dev10 associates begin their career in Software Engineering and Data Engineering with three months of training led by Senior Engineers. The training is NOT a bootcamp- it is the beginning of a career! During training, associates acquire the technical skills needed to work on client projects. Software Engineers at Dev10 work on projects such as mobile development, cloud migrations, and API development. Data Engineers at Dev10 work on projects such as data lake migrations, Cloud migrations, and building/maintaining custom reporting.

To keep up with the ever- evolving technology field, it is important that entry-level Software Engineers and Data Engineers are learning relevant and widely used tools and languages. You’ll be amazed at what you can do as a Software Engineer or Data Engineer!
