What You’ll Learn
Project:
The Meta Vision Lab at Samsung aims at representing Samsung’s leadership in large-scale sensor, photonic and sensing products. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a talented and hard-working Ph.D. graduate to get involved in envisioning, prototyping, and implementing state-of-the-art optical products with a growing team. Interns are expected to implement and research production-level photonic solutions.
Come join the Samsung MVL team and enjoy building state-of-the-art photonic solutions!
Skills You’ll Learn:
As an intern, students become part of a professional team that develops the future of photonics. Intern can discover how real-life projects progress, how an initial idea turns into reality and help design innovative products that make a difference to the world. And where one can also make the difference. Interns are expected to implement and research production-level photonic solutions. The internships involve different aspects from a job which allows to develop project planning and presentation competences next to engineering skills. Publications and patents are expected as outputs of an internship. At the conclusion of the internship, they’ll have the opportunity to present the project results to the broader Samsung research, production & business teams across different organization.
What You’ll Do
Design highly efficient photonic sensing elements and systems for Digital Health applications with Machine Learning/Deep Learning and/or physical models together with experienced Samsung R&D engineers to co-develop cutting-edge optical products for Samsung
- Intern will be responsible for developing AI/ML solutions for managing and analyzing large data sets collected using wearable sensors
