RUTGERS NEW JERSEY AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION: I-Corps™@Rutgers (University-wide program)

Explore how your idea or innovation could be used in the real world. Learn about possible commercial applications. Get funding for customer discovery to “get out of the building”

Faculty, staff, and students from ALL Rutgers campuses and invited schools who have a STEM-based Innovation in an applied science are invited to apply for this impactful 5-week program funded by the National Science Foundation. Benefits of participating in the Rutgers I-Corps™ Site include:

* Discover a market for your innovation/technology by meeting potential customers
* Meet knowledgeable people from within and outside the university; Cohort includes some small breakout sessions
* Gain experience about what it takes to commercialize technology & overcome barriers to adoption of innovative ideas
* Receive designation as an NSF-funded project, opening up more funding opportunities
* Learn business concepts including Lean Launchpad Methodology and the Business Model Canvas
* Develop interpersonal skills that could directly impact your technology or your career
* Expand your knowledge of Rutgers Innovation & Entrepreneurship ecosystem
* Receive reimbursement of up to $2500 in Customer Discovery expenses per team
