Anchorage Youth Court (AYC) is a non-profit diversionary program for youth in grades 7 – 12 who participate in a justice system run by and for peers. AYC is highly beneficial because diverted youth are afforded a chance to resolve legal problems in a highly personalized and relevant manner without receiving a formal juvenile record, & the community receives valuable work service as redress.
