Warehouse Associate**Experience driving a Box Truck preferred**POSITION SUMMARYReceives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReads production build sheet to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Records all serial numbers pulled for each product on the build sheet and pallet sheet.Mark material with order numbers and other identifying information (rail length, number of packages in shipment).Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.Stage orders in predetermined distribution area for final inspection by Warehouse Manager.Gather and distribute parts orders.Maintain parts room inventory.Receive and maintain returned merchandise while tracking and entering information in the inventory system.Trouble shoot and repair damaged and returned merchandise.Load and unload containers. Sort and place material on racks or shelves to predetermined sequence such as product type and size using fork lift, pallet jack or heavy lifting.Keep work area clean and general assistance of housekeeping in the warehouse.Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions ; Uses equipment and materials properly.Other warehouse duties may be assigned.Provide backup for FL RMA lead as required. Duties include:Track/Manage RMA system from creation to completion of each returned item.Update all tracking info in all applicable systems for RMS’s including RMA’s.Update installers of their outstanding RMA’s and arrange for delivery/pick up.Update Dealers of RMA status and applicable credits/charges relating to all returned items.Liaise with shipping and logistics team in NJ to ensure inventory accuracy at all times.Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.SKILLSMust be computer savvy using applications Microsoft Office, Windows PC.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.ATTRIBUTESAttendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time.Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.Initiative – Volunteers readily; Seeks increased responsibilities.Judgment – Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.Safety and Security – Uses equipment and materials properlyEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
