The Opportunity
The Consumer Insights team delivers key insights to the Experience and Engagement (XE) organization for how we can improve experiences and measure the impact of changes. We are looking for an MBA or Masters student with a deep interest in the world of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Interns work as full members of the team and will be encouraged to help drive our XE strategy and analysis that have an impact on improving customers’ experience with Adobe’s Creative Cloud and Document Cloud product offerings. We are excited to have an intern join the team this summer!
What you’ll do
The ideal candidate will have a strong business, data analytics background, who can identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in sophisticated data sets in an Enterprise SaaS company. Your day-to-day will include:
- Using web analytics and even some SQL queries on an ad hoc basis to extract data using Excel or reporting solutions like Tableau, Power BI etc. to communicate insights
- Analyzing raw and/or disparate data from multiple sources (qual. and quant.) to generate key findings
- Translating those findings into powerful presentations to help partners understand the opportunity and track progress on key initiatives
- Working with senior level business partners to understand the customer and business questions they are trying to solve
- Developing A/B test charters, running analysis, and delivering results
- Performing Voice of Customer research and analyzing to understand where customer get stuck
What you need to succeed
Currently enrolled in an MBA program or Masters in Statistics, Data Science or similar program with a minimum of three years of analytical insights and storytelling experience. Ideally, 1-2 years minimum in a SaaS business. In addition, a strong candidate:
- Must pay attention to details while staying grounded in the big picture
- Experience with data retrieval, automation, analytics, and visualization tools (SQL, Python, SAS, R, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Experience with web analytics is a plus (particularly Adobe Analytics)
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels
- High energy, strong work ethic, willingness to do whatever it takes to get to the results
- Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and multitask in matrixed environment
- A passion for problem-solving, handle ambiguity well, and creative problem-solving when stuck
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with fine-tuned collaboration skills
