The African American Mayors Association 2021 Future Leaders Fellowship (FLF) is a virtual paid program which offers undergraduate students an opportunity to learn and navigate the functions of local government. The fellowship will be six weeks of virtual programming and one tentative in-person meeting. Fellows will receive hands-on training and conduct research centered around racial and economic justice policy. In addition, fellows will be able to connect with AAMA Mayors and partners for 30-minute professional development workshops via video-conference. At the conclusion of the program, fellows will be awarded a $500 book voucher for the upcoming academic year.
