ACE is a trusted, national, nonpartisan think tank driven by the next generation of policy researchers. Our team of Student Fellows across the country produce nonpartisan, accessible policy briefs to empower young voters.
We have published more than 150 research briefs across 11 research areas, spanning foreign policy, environmental policy, criminal justice, and more. ACE constantly seeks new ways to engage young voters, and this spring we are experimenting with translating policy briefs into podcasts for voters who don’t read traditional briefs.
Detailed description: The Policy Podcast Coordinator will produce one 5-7 minute long podcast per week, based on one of ACE’s published research briefs. The podcast will follow an interview format between the host (the Coordinator) and the Student Fellow who wrote the brief. As this is the first time ACE is experimenting with this medium, the exact format, length, and content may vary as the process is fine-tuned. The briefs will be selected in consultation with ACE’s communications team, and finished podcasts will be published on the ACE website as well as potentially shared via a podcast app or other form of distribution. In the cover letter, please discuss previous experience producing podcasts.
