POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Intern will be responsible for device testing and inspection, protocol and report writing, data analysis, and trending information. This position will support Quality Engineers in completion of required deliverables and Quality System improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare and execute test protocols and prepare associated test reports Perform analysis on data generated from tests Supports completion of Design History File Deliverables Supports CAPA/Deviation/SCAR investigations and reportsSupports completion of Quality System improvements Supports internal & external audit Supports development of Quality System procedures Perform other related duties as assigned EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (degree, license, certification): ·      Completion of Sophomore/Junior Year in Engineering (Mechanical, Material Science, Chemical, or Biomedical) or related ScienceSummer roles begin in May and last through AugustCandidate must be available to work Monday – Thursday during full day, regular office hours for the duration of the assignmentCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Prior work experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory environment preferred OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to manage multiple projectsGood verbal and written communication skillsData analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsStrong attention to detailAble to work independently as well as in a team environmentHousing and Daily transportation to and from the work-site location is the student’s responsibility About Working at Antares: Antares Pharma is committed to recruiting highly talented individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and who can work together in an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit. At Antares Pharma, innovative and creative thinking is highly valued.
