The Augustinian Volunteers are looking for recent college grads (21-29 years old) to serve as a case manager in Ventura, CA from late August 2021 to late June 2022.
The volunteer serves in various capacities. Below is a brief description:
- The volunteer works primarily with the Community Assistance Program, which provides basic needs and case management services for the homeless and low-income residents. This program provides daily lunches, food, employment, and referral services to clients, with which the volunteers will interact directly on a daily basis. The volunteer also works closely to coordinate the annual Holiday Adopt-a-Family program, and is involved with tasks ranging from grant writing to budgeting and financial planning.
