Formulation Development Co-Op
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Formulation Development Co-Op, are to:
Support Formulation Development;
Conduct and execute hands-on laboratory work and development activities;
Conduct physical testing of APIs and Excipients to characterize these materials;
Conduct testing of formulation compositions and physical attributes of prototypes and new products;
Conduct data analysis and interpretation on information generated from testing and characterization for summary reports;
Support formulations in literature search and research;
Present project summaries to the formulation team and other functions;
Interact regularly with all members of the formulation team and other functional groups within the Development Center.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Currently enrolled in a minimum of a graduate degree program in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Drug, or related sciences;
Able to commit to a 6-month assignment (Jan.-June or June- Dec.);
Returning to school at the end of the co-op assignment to complete degree;
Experience with data analysis;
Ability to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects under tight timelines;
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office/ Excel Pivot Tables);
Good communication skills due to the cross–functional collaboration.
Have a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
