Behavior Interventions, Inc (BII) was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a mission to improve the lives of families served. Currently BII offers home and school-based services in Southeastern PA, Southern NJ, Central NJ and Delaware state. BII also offers center based 1:1 sessions, social skills groups and an Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program.
Employed clinicians have the opportunity to support families across multiple settings for individual and group sessions. Practicum students have the option of being involved in group and individual programming across multiple settings as well as unique experiences supporting our research department and BxHelpDesk program. Supervision is provided from a BCBA onsite as well as the option of participating in online supervision with the Director or Associate Director of our Research and Quality Improvement Department. Clinical activities include but are not limited to, observation, and participation in clinical assessment, provision of direct ABA-based treatment to clients, graphing and analysis of behavioral data along with participation in data-based decision making.
BII’s department of behavior research offers practicum students opportunities to contribute to ongoing research projects or conduct research to complete thesis projects. The research department is currently focusing on research related to staff training, caregiver training, behavioral skills training, equivalence-based instruction, fluency-based instruction, and the personalized system of instruction.

Placements occur on a rolling basis. Typical duration of placements are between 3-6 months for at-minimum 10 hours per week. Individual needs and preferences for scheduling/duration are discussed during the selection process.
