Academic internship for a graduate or undergraduate student in any field of study, but optimal for students in social work, public health, nursing, psychology, gender studies or related fields. Health Programs interns work directly with the Health Programs and Supportive Services Manager to conduct health promotion outreach for tobacco, cancer, diabetes, and HIV prevention, help to research health disparities, and assist with organizing health related events. Interns learn the process involved in outreach, health disparity research, and event organizing.
