Registered Dietitian, CF-Psychiatric Inpatient Program (PIP)
$67,572 – $86,232 Annual Range
Under direction of the Assistant Director of Dietetics, the Registered Dietitian develops and implements nutritional care plans for patients and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Plans regular and special therapeutic diets for patients; gathers information on patient’s medical history and assesses nutritional needs; and documents and records individual nutritional assessments. Coordinates with the Facilities Dietary Department in the selection of menu items. Establishes recipes for use by food production personnel. Assists and advises clinical personnel on any special nutritional needs of patients. Develops and implements nutritional plans and provides recommendations in coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Attends treatments team conferences for patients with nutritional problems as clinically indicated or as requested by physician or treatment team members. Provides dietary counseling for patients on special diets and offers nutritional education on an individual and/or group basis; and performs other related duties.
