Use your experience in Psychology, Sociology or Education to provide an incredible sleep-away camp experience for a neurodiverse population. Our campers are diagnosed with ASD, NVLD, ADHD or a similar profile. Camp Akeela’s program is for campers between 4th-10th grade, structured in a way that develops social skills, fosters growth and empowers youth in a way that will exercise professional skills that are essential for the clinical or educational workplace. We are seeking lifeguards and swim instructors who will use their knowledge of development and psychology to facilitate an enriching and safe camp experience in our aquatics program.
