Why intern with us?Interns will get a first-hand look into how an online e-commerce business with multiple retail locations operates on the backend from day-to-day. They will also have the opportunity to learn about digital marketing, search engine optimization, content production, brand-building, entrepreneurship, and management. This position is unpaid and for school credit only.Marketing and Social Media InternCapSwag is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team in our newly renovated corporate office. Your main roles will be to assist in consumer outreach strategies on a variety of social media channels and contributing to the e-commerce marketing effort.Scope of work may include:Responding to direct messages from followers and potential clients.Targeted outreach using demographic research to engage potential followers/customers.Scheduling social media posts across multiple platforms with a tailored approach to each platform’s type of user. Brainstorming and producing original content.Requirements:Must reside within Southern New Jersey or anywhere within reasonable driving distance (90-minute max) for the duration of the internship.Must be available for at least 2 days/week, 11:30 am – 6:30 pmApplicants should be currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program related to business, marketing, and/or advertising.Must be eager to learn and present ideas to the team.Not required, but please mention if you have any experience working with content production or editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier, Final Cut) that is a big plus.Perks and Benefits:Paid lunchesFully stocked kitchenette of snacks Casual dress codeFlexible schedulePotential opportunity for future employment
