The Associate will work closely with the Director of Strategic Growth to help build and execute a robust communications, marketing, and business development strategy. The Communications and Business Development Associate will: Support organizational and programmatic efforts relating to communications and marketing, including:Propose creative ideas for enhancing CSP’s communications strategy along with the skill and drive to execute on those ideas.Manage the communications calendar and manage against it; ensure all planned content is being produced by content authors, on deadline.Support all other marketing and communications efforts in collaboration with the team, including social media, eblasts, digital materials, printed collateral and firm thought leadership.Provide assistance during the business development process: Research leads and draft outreachDraft proposals for corporate and foundation clients; proofread final proposals.Prepare high-quality pitch decks and edit collateral for potential clients.Update website contentManage quick adjustments and content updates to existing causestrategypartners.com pages.Support copy and UX design for new website content development.Upload, format, and copy edit web content.Manage corporate board training engagementsManage scheduling, technology, communications, and registration for training sessions.Support Cause Strategy Partners governance trainers in content development.Coordinate with team members on BoardLearn’s continuous education series.DESIRED SKILLSThe Associate selected to fill this position will report to the Director of Strategic Growth and work alongside the Principal & Founder of Cause Strategy Partners. They must be adept at a number of core competencies, including: Verbal and written communication: Associate must be an outstanding writer. Candidates will be asked to participate in a writing test as a part of the hiring process.Technological and design prowess: Associate must be skilled in building high-impact presentation decks and navigating Excel/Google Sheets, in particular. Highly efficient & organized self-starter: As a rapidly growing organization, Cause Strategy Partners must produce high-quality work on a tight timeline.
