The FaithJustice Fellowship (FJF) is a program of the Center for FaithJustice (CFJ) that welcomes applicants of any age, from new college graduates to adults looking for service opportunities or a possible career change. The program runs annually from late August – June.
The FJF creates opportunities for young adults to gain work experience in a non-profit setting. The work placement options have featured a variety faith-based non-profits that specialize in: social services, community engagement, youth/young-adult ministry, and non-profit administration. The opportunities are either working directly in one of CFJ’s programs and initiatives, or they are arranged with one of our long-standing community partner organizations in the greater Trenton, NJ area. These opportunities have varied year-by-year in order to cater to the experience and desired work exposure of our applicants.
Fellows will receive housing, a monthly stipend, and health insurance, while serving at a partner organization in/around Trenton, New Jersey. Applicants must be comfortable with and open to learning the tenets of Catholic Social Teaching. Fellows are given spiritual direction throughout the year and are expected to live in intentional community during the entire program.
