The Administrative Division at CMSBC is currently seeking business students, social science students, and clerical students to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. We are specifically recruiting interns who are interested in learning the inner-workings of a corporate office environment.
Duties will include learning how to:
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Write professional emails
- Provide customer service
- Schedule appointments
- Create, organize, and maintain multiple filing systems
- Support supervisory staff, as needed
The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, have a strong work ethic, and be excited to learn new things. Working knowledge of Gmail and Google Drive is a plus. This may be a flexible position, with most office hours completed remotely but a few hours may potentially be completed in-person.
In addition to your administrative responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of department heads, and industry experts. Completion of this internship will give you the valuable experience needed to get a job in the real-world workforce.
This internship may be completed for college credit, or for experiential learning in an unpaid capacity. Those seeking college credit from this internship must attach documentation from their school that outlines their school’s internship requirements/parameters, as part of their application package.
CMSBC selects interns who are interested in our company’s mission, are hard workers and are eager to learn. CMSBC is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer that values and actively seeks diversity in the workforce. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.
