· AmeriCorps-St. Mark Youth Enrichment (Summer 2021)
AmeriCorps is a national service program that each takes a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. AmeriCorps Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more.
Contract Dates: 300 hours: May 31, 2021 – August 7, 2021 (Average of 35 hours per week for 10 weeks)
Salary: Living allowance of $2,850 ($570 every 2 weeks -taxes) & Education award of $1,311.11*
Opening Date: January 15, 2021
Closing Date: May 15, 2021
Available shifts: AmeriCorps training starts June 1. Service will take place during normal business hours. Some night and weekend hours are required during Special Events. Vacation, sick, holiday and lunch time do not count toward your total 300 hours.

*AmeriCorps member will receive education award in the form of an electronic payment through my.americorpgs.gov upon the completion of their 300 hour contract. Education award may be used to pay educational costs at eligible post-secondary educational institutions or qualified student loans. Members who are 55+ years of age can transfer award to child or grandchild under specific conditions.
