Seeking an intern to help a brand new nonprofit with community relations to support their efforts. Students will get hands on experience developing community relationships with other agencies pertinent to the success of a nonprofit. Students will learn relationship management and potentially get exposure to the grant process as well. Students will work with volunteers and board members to learn how to successfully navigate community channels and network with other community leaders as well. Students will also learn to measure the impact an organization makes on local communities and quantify this impact. This is a very hands on experience for students interested in gaining real world project based knowledge of community relations and nonprofit administration. This would be excellent experience for someone interested in using this skill set outside of school.
Student will have the support of staff and will be given regular updates from board members and other internal stakeholders.

Work can be done remotely, no travel required
Seeking multiple students to work cooperatively on this project
Students will also learn additional skills in nonprofit administration, nonprofit management, and project management.
