Deer Valley Resort hires Culinary and Baking and Pastry students to complete their Externship requirements in the winter. Students have the opportunity to learn from professional Chefs in a variety of settings. Deer Valley Resort has 13 restaurants and 3 from scratch Bakeries.
Depending on job location and shift, job duties will vary from cooking a’la carte, buffet style set-ups and service, line cook, and line set-ups. The opportunity to learn about guest service, food presentation, and prepare food promptly and efficiently.
Culinary Externships available at Snow Park, Silver Lake, and Empire Lodge.
Dates of Employment: December – April, flexible dates based on school schedules.
