Job Description: We’re looking for a content marketing intern to work part-time, 20 hours/week this fall, in our Digital division in our New York City office. Our paid internship program offers college students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain unmatched marketing experience by working with diverse cities, states and countries.

Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- A passion for creativity and creating ‘thumb-stopping’ content
- Comfortability with social media platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Prior internships or leadership experience at school
- Interest in working both collaboratively and independently
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have all necessary approvals to live/work in the U.S.
- Can commit to 20 hours/week
- In light of the CDC’s guidelines on safety and vaccinations, DCI requires all final candidates to be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus as a way to strengthen protection for our staff, our agency, and our clients
Responsibilities:
DCI’s interns are viewed as members of our team. Our interns support our day-to-day client work while also participating in skills-building professional development sessions. In addition, our interns have plenty of opportunities to enjoy company perks.
- Drafting social media copy for clients
- Creating simple design work in Canva to support social media posts
- Scheduling social media content via tools such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite
- Support reporting on social media analytics
- Monitoring and researching topics for social media and other content, across clients
- Researching and drafting blogs or other website copy, as-needed
- Updating and organizing DCI social media processes and materials
- Supporting related digital marketing work, as-needed
