Overview:DJM Consulting is a well-recognized engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and renewable energy design.Built on a tradition of personalized service with Principal’s involvement from start to finish our work environment fosters lifelong learning and professional development.We are expanding and looking for Entry Level Electrical Engineers to join our team. This position is well suited for highly motivated individuals seeking a fast-paced and rewarding work experience.In this position you will actively participate in the full project construction cycle, from predesign through final project closeout. Job Responsibilities:Work within multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.Assist teams in the production & design of various 3-phase AC power systems, 3-phase power calculations, rotating electric machines (motors/ generators) and fault current analysis. Assist teams in the production & design of various types of lighting, building control and fire alarm / life safety systems.Under the direction of a senior engineer perform design calculations, energy compliance and code reviews.Perform field investigations, submittal review, and project closeout documentation. Assists in preparation of CAD drawings / REVIT models and construction documents.
