Throughout the Co-Op program, you will be performing meaningful work while building professional relationships and gaining real-life experience in the financial services industry. You will collaborate with associates and leaders to gain industry knowledge and work towards varying experiences that benefit your future career and our client’s lives.
The program is a paid opportunity that will last September 5, 2022 through December 16th, 2022. You will have the ability to create a flexible schedule with your leader to work around your school commitments. As an associate, you will build relationships and skills through mentorship, networking opportunities, program engagement events and daily work.
Finance Co-Op Program Overview
Division Description
Finance provides leadership of the financial integrity of the firm, business intelligence and
advocacy, and applies this expertise to positively impact the firm’s financial standing and
strategic business objectives. You will play a critical role in the firm’s growth and sustained
financial strength.
As part of this team, you will have the ability to influence decision making and contribute to new
strategies. You will also drive operational effectiveness and efficiency to assist us in achieving
business objectives.
Position Description
As a Finance Co-Op you will be placed in one of the following areas: Expenditure Management, Compensation or Risk. In these areas, you will perform the daily duties of an associate including:
-Respond timely and accurately to service inquiries related to topics in area
-Perform audit functions including reconciling and reviewing transaction reports to ensure financial integrity
-Analyze, document, and monitor business processes in order to Identify and implement process and control improvements
-Follow written instructions, read and digest documents in various formats, gather and interpret information
-Develop and maintain business relationships and partnerships with key business owners and stakeholders throughout the division and firm
-Understand the roles, responsibilities and activities performed by organizational functions; understand the interrelationship among organizational functions, and ability to collaborate across functional and organizational lines
-Training will be on the job, focusing on topical coverage
