You will support the sales organization, primarily remotely, in a variety of ways, with a focus on prospect research and the improvement in accuracy and usability of customer data in our CRM system. You will also work hand in hand with our outside salespeople and marketing professionals.
This position will be great for any student interested in the technology business, specifically software, from a sales and marketing perspective. It also very easily lead to a full-time role. All of the executives have decades of background mentoring young people.
Your primary responsibility will be doing prospect research online for the initial 30-minute discovery sessions our salespeople have with information technology executives.
You’ll also, to a lesser degree, be asked to cleanse data, identify valid and invalid information and duplicate records, and assist with the organization of that data to improve process effectiveness and reporting accuracy.
Other projects may include assistance in improving the operational playbook for the sales team, managing sales support issues, and other ad-hoc assignments, including working with our marketing department on events.
You’ll gain exposure to sales operations and large ticket enterprise selling in general.
