The Closing Agent Intern will support the Risk department and APM against potential wire fraud attacks and protect the company’s financial interest by ensuring that all loan funds are being accurately sent to approved agents and their companies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and complete closing agent email requests from staff.
- Audit and review Temp Approved status closing agents and ensure their files are completed and/or closed.
- Cross train on other functions of Risk, including but not limited to Vendor Management, Change Management and Internal Audit.
- Project related work including policy, procedure and process writing, meeting attendance and idea generation.

Education & Experience:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Office experience desired, but not required
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents and writes routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to analysis data.
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge.
