Summary
The Funding Intern will be responsible for ensuring the Funding department is supported with final loan tasks that are needing to be completed for funding and post-funding.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure all loans fund according to federal, state, investor, TRID, and company guidelines.
• Assist with clearing post-close deficiencies
• Funding package upload
• Final verification of employment
• Final closing statement request/upload
• Assist with clearing Mavent fails
• Misc. clean up items: balancing files, insurance input completion, revised/re-disclosure queue clean up, initial CD track down

Skills:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents and writes routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
Computer Skills: Excel knowledge preferred but not required.
