Institutional Banking Internship Program

What to Expect:
As a participant in the Institutional Banking Internship Program, you will Support lending and portfolio management teams in the Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, or Residential Real Estate Groups. You may also support Southern Community Capital with Tax Credit investments. A possible career path for an Institutional Banking intern is to move into our Development Associate program, then from there move into Loan Assistant positions, then Relationship Manager Associate, to finally move into a lender or portfolio manager career.
What We Require:
Trustmark focuses on students who have a demonstrated strong work ethic and leadership skills through academic performance, work experience and campus involvement. In addition, interested students should also:
- Enrolled in a four year or MBA program and be classified as a junior or higher.
- Enrolled in the Undergraduate Majors: Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Scheduled to graduate either December 2021 or May 2022
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine interest in developing a career with Trustmark
