Global Gateway Advisors, an independent strategic communications consultancy, is seeking an intern to join our team of dynamic communicators.
Our interns are integrated into client teams and play essential roles to support our clients and firm. Our goal is to provide interns with a sense of ownership, accomplishment and pride in the work they do. We offer the opportunity to support our clients on their day-to-day communications programs, participate in brainstorms, take part in professional development and learn how a communications consultancy works.
Global Gateway Advisors is focused on helping companies, nonprofits, organizations and governments to establish, grow, enhance and protect their reputation through dialogue and influencer engagement. We specialize in corporate public affairs, health, technology, finance and social impact. We look forward to learning more about you and discussing a potential internship at our firm!

Responsibilities Overview
-Conduct and synthesize research across a variety of topics for clients in technology, healthcare and global business.
-Draft and edit communications materials, such as media lists, pitches, press releases, etc.
-Monitor client news to develop media and social media reports summarizing and analyzing relevant topics and themes.
-Develop company, industry and media backgrounders and social listening reports.
-Lead an intern project based on own interests and the firm’s needs with guidance and support from other team members.

Qualifications
-Recent college grads and undergraduate students (preferably rising seniors).
-Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or Political Science majors preferred.
-Previous PR or communications agency experience is a plus.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of other programs is a plus.
-Social media savvy, with experience using Twitter, LinkedIn and other key platforms. Knowledge of social listening platforms is a plus.
Length: Spring or Summer. Exact start + end dates are flexible
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with early leave on Fridays in the summer. Hours can also be flexible for any students interested in joining this spring.
