The Leadership & Change GSV is responsible for helping to 1) manage change, 2) implement strategic LD projects that drive equity at Good Shepherd Services, and 3) position our agency to be a leader in nonprofit professional development. Based on the GSV’s skill sets and career goals, the person’s essential functions may include one or more of the following:· Communications (Planning, Copywriting & Copyediting): Support the development of communications plans. Help write and edit press releases, promotional copy, video scripts and content for social media posts. · Graphic Design: Design graphics for social media and event advertisements. Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and/or comparable programs desired. · Project Management: Help manage coordination of people and resources to complete tasks on time. Communicate project and deadline dependencies, and make recommendations for process efficiency when necessary. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Trello, Basecamp, Asana and/or comparable tools desired. · Social Media Ambassador: In collaboration with GSS Communications and HR, help raise awareness for GSS Leadership Development and Anti-Racism & Equity on social media. Share information and stories about how LD drives equity across the organization. Requirement: Share content via your Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn accounts, etc. No previous experience necessary.· Video Editing: Help edit video content for LD and ARE campaigns. Preferred: Experience with Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and/or comparable programs.· Workshop Support: Responsible for workshop-participant recruitment, LMS and Zoom registration, attendance reporting, and tech support for all Leadership Development workshops.Check with your Internship Coordinator BEFORE accepting to determine how you might do this internship for credit.
