Our 2022 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving Fortune 250 global financial services company.
You will gain invaluable technical skills while also gaining experience with the maintenance and support of Guardian’s large server footprint that supports Guardian’s multitude of applications supporting the customer and the Guardian employees, and in addition you will be engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our regional offices.

A technical enthusiast who is fueled by learning the latest in Cloud and Operational technologies, and is excited to collaborate on problem resolution.
- Computer Science skillset with Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems
- Analytic skills able to help troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Enthusiasm to learn technologies in the Cloud including AWS
The Cloud operations team supports the infrastructure and OS of the multiple Guardian servers that support the daily running of the business. We support a large number of servers running Linux and Windows OS running on VMware and in AWS. The team is responsible for ensuring availability of the applications through maintenance of the infrastructure to ensure Service Levels are met.
You will be doing the following:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of our servers including in the data center and in the cloud
- Work with OS vendors to troubleshoot issues
- Work on maintenance activities including OS patching and upgrades.
Location: Bethlehem (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
