Our 2022 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving Fortune 250 global financial services company.

The Guardian Information Security Operations team performs Security Operations Center (SOC) functions for the Company, operates a broad variety of cutting-edge Cybersecurity technologies, responds to and investigates cyber threat alerts, and monitors for anomalous activity in the environment.
A self-starter who is fueled by collaboration, able to transform conceptual thinking into executable insights who thrives in diving into business problems and using data to make decisions.
Familiarity with at least one security technology domain from the list below:
- Security architecture of Microsoft Windows or Linux operating systems
- Network/perimeter security, including next-gen firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, proxies, and web application firewalls
- Enterprise endpoint (host-based) security
- Data Leak Prevention (DLP) and secure data transmission, storage, and access
- Identity and Access Management
- Monitor for events from various SOC intake sources, conducting initial event discovery, triage, and response as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), while also applying the knowledge of modern threat landscape and industry best practices and standards
- Monitor security dashboards and process corresponding events
- Evaluate SOC processes and procedures for opportunities for improvement, propose and help to implement relevant modifications.
