We even have a “reverse mentoring” program which allows us to share our knowledge and strengths across our multi-generation workforce.Responsibilities: * Working with senior level Product Design engineers in designing of computer system infrastructure, components, and sub-assemblies. * Research and document component parts to generate a BOM (bill of materials). * Hands-on experience in performing thermal, acoustic, electrical, and mechanical testing of components and systems to validate and generate the test reports for the design against program requirements. * Portions of this job will be in a lab environment validating and qualifying conceptual designs and prototype product implementations.Requirements: * Sophomore, junior, senior in a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Product Design Engineering program. * Experience or training in solid modelling software is helpful, SolidWorks preferred. * Experience or coursework in Electronics Packaging is preferred. * Basic knowledge of electrical principles and electronic components. * Basic element analysis experience is preferred.Education and Experience Required: Minimum 2nd Year of University completed–typically an Engineering degree specialization.What we can offer you:Extensive benefits, a competitive salary and participation in the shared values and purpose that make Hewlett Packard Enterprise one of the world´s most attractive employers!
