Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a Summer 2021 Community Team Intern to create connections to help people belong. Our team helps people CONNECT THE UNCONNECTED through events designed to allow others to meet and get to know one another, HELP PEOPLE TAKE THEIR NEXT STEPS through Dinner Groups, and REPRODUCE GROUPS AND LEADERS through our leadership development courses. We thrive at helping people who are new to church to take their next steps to get more connected. This happens not only in our groups and events, but also behind the scenes with the multitude of ways we support and care for people. As an intern with our team, you will learn how to recruit, develop, and care for volunteers; execute an effective assimilation process and healthy small group ministry; communicate for life change; engage with others during connection events and help them find a place to belong; and develop an effective process to move people to their next spiritual step. In addition, interns will develop and demonstrate skills in leadership, event planning, and staff relationships.

This is a part-time position (approximately 15 – 20 hours per week) and there is a $500 stipend at the completion of the program. You may also be eligible for school credit. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. This position is on-site in Hoboken, New Jersey. This internship is from June 1, 2021, to August 20, 2021, and we have a rolling interview process so we encourage you to apply soon!
