The InLiquid Internship Program will offer the experience of working in a non-profit arts organization and fine art gallery. Internships are designed primarily for undergraduate and graduate students, although open to anyone with a strong desire and commitment. We offer internships in three areas including Editorial, Membership and Exhibitions, Development and Events, and Graphic Design. All interns will gain useful insight cross-departments and be exposed to many the many facets of our team.

Interns will work closely with InLiquid staff and will be involved with regular activities as well as special projects as needed. Internships are non-paid positions; academic credit may be received depending on the intern’s college program. Internships are available year-round.

The Graphic Design intern will work under the supervision of the staff Graphic Designer. They will assist with the production of promotional and exhibition support materials (printed gallery brochures, social media promos, etc), documentation, and archiving of graphics. Interns will have a unique opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of graphics production in the professional setting, workflows, and knowledge of event and exhibition promotion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in contemporary visual arts, web design, and work in the non-profit sector. The candidate should be extremely detail oriented and have a willingness to learn. Experience in Microsoft Office, Adobe Products, and best practices for both print and digital design is a must; knowledge of WordPress, HTML, coding, and/or customer relationship management software is a plus, but not necessary. This position involves a 3 to 6-month commitment, 10 – 15 hours a week. Hours and days of the week are flexible.
