About the Role
Karp Strategies is actively interviewing for a full time Graphic Design and Communications Analyst to join our growing team as an immediate hire. The Graphic Design and Communications Analyst will lead marketing efforts on behalf of the firm in this newly created position. This role will regularly interface and collaborate with the firm’s leadership, clients, and partners. We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years of work experience who has excellent writing, graphic design, social media management, and oral communication skills, pays strong attention to detail, and provides excellent follow through on tasks. The Graphic Design and Communications Analyst will play a key role in supporting the firm’s business objectives, priorities, sales and marketing strategy. This candidate will also maintain the firm’s external presence and voice, including Karp Strategies’ website, blog, newsletter, and social media. Major Job Responsibilities: ● With Karp Strategies leadership and outside advisors, support overall marketing strategy for the firm, including initiating new activities, as well as managing one-time and recurring activities. ● Facilitate the writing, editing, and tailoring of proposals to produce compelling content with easy-to-read narratives for a diversity of external-facing platforms. ● Develop original graphic content for proposals, client presentations, newsletters, our website, ranging from full layout to infographics to smaller materials, using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and other programs, while adhering to brand standards ● Ensure consistency with our messaging and brand, and compliance with client requirements. Ensure the graphic identity and voice of the firm is consistently applied across all external materials; develop and support systems for accomplishing this. ● Support the planning and development of client presentations and interviews of all sizes. ● Proactively maintain resume, opportunity, and project data in our CRM database. ● Maintain the Karp Strategies website, blog, newsletter, and manage social media platforms, and perform other marketing and writing tasks as assigned. ● Track and report out on marketing analytics, including key performance indicators from our website and social media platforms, and use insights to inform the marketing strategy going forward. ● Support the coordination and preparation of proposals of all sizes, ensuring deadlines are met and submittal is compliant with Request For Proposals (RFP), collaborating with Karp Strategies leadership and business development team members.
Necessary Skills for Success: ● At least two to five years coordinating and supporting marketing for professional services/consulting firms ● Professional degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Liberal Arts, or related field. Undergraduate degree is preferred, masters degree is optional. Comparable and demonstrated work experience is also acceptable in lieu of a degree. ● Detail-oriented, with an eye for design and focus on quality. ● High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and follow-through. ● Effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. ● Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills using a variety of media. ● Experience with standard office software, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite InDesign and Illustrator software with excellent graphics skills. Experience with Photoshop is a plus. ● Experience with website building and hosting platforms. Experience with Wix is a plus. ● Ability to work regular business hours (9am – 5 pm, with occasional overtime, individualistically or collaboratively) ● Interest in working in a start-up environment with a close-knit team and our project partners on miscellaneous tasks, big or small, as they arise.
