Individual must be able to work independently in a busy environment and be detail oriented, as well as a self-starter. Will maintain confidentiality of all subject matter. Acts as receptionist including fielding calls, welcoming/assisting visitors, maintaining presentation of the reception area. Creates Employee ID Badges as necessary. Assists employees with timekeeping access/issues. Completes employee payroll maintenance in database and adjusts employee files accordingly. Ensures compliance with required Federal & State postings. Responds to requests for Verification of Employment. Issues employee recognition items. Responds to legal requests for documentation. Assists with licensing reviews. Scans and indexes file contents. Provides follow-up on all outstanding documentation to ensure information is received timely, is accurate. Submits orders for supplies. Conducts routine audits to ensure department compliance and consistency. Assists in maintaining, educating and applying Agency HR Policies. Assists employees with various HR related requests. Assists all employees of the department as needed.
Associate’s Degree in business related field or High School Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience in HR or business/office environment. Strong experience with HRIS/payroll database. Must possess mathematical aptitude and strong verbal & written communication skills. Must be detail oriented, extremely accurate, able to follow up on ongoing projects and meet all deadlines. Strong inter-personal relationship skills and problem solving skills are required
