Lendlease’s Summer Internships gives college students the opportunity to augment their education by performing meaningful real-world responsibilities over a 2 to 3 months summer span. Working as a Summer Internship can also help determine a student’s ability to later succeed in our Cornerstone Program upon graduation. A Summer Internship is a common path into the Cornerstone Program. These are paid positions and many Lendlease employees started off as Interns while in college.

Project Management and Field Leadership are the principal responsibilities learned, with other functions in the construction and pre-construction stages also incorporated. The construction projects are all large scale commercial, delivered at risk as a General Contractor, Design-Builder, etc. The Construction teams will also often integrate with the Development teams to deliver our own projects. Projects range from skyline changing to those making positive impacts for families and communities.

It is competitive to obtain an internship with Lendlease, yet here are the minimum requirements to apply.

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program, and scheduled to return to college in the Fall after the Summer Internship. (Graduating students please see the Cornerstone Program at www.lendlease.com/us/college)
  • Must be passionate about the discipline selected and able to make it a career at Lendlease.
  • Willing to live Lendlease’s Core Values (Respect, Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Excellence, and Trust), and our Principles (Safety, Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion, and Customer Focus).
