What You Will Do:
The part-time HR Intern (approximately 20 hours per week) will work closely with various members of the HR team to assist with overflow work as assigned. The job requirements below are not an exhaustive list and the responsibility of the tasks below should be shared with the assigning HR team member.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Assist with uploading and maintaining information for HR Intranet page (i.e. inventory of libraries, policies, documentation)
- Assist with various HR administrative tasks, such as:
- Updating the Alumni list
- Preparing new hire orientation and benefit folders
- Preparing firm donations for employees’ family members and gifts of congratulations and well wishes for employees
- Updating the Career development attorney information in UltiPro, such as law school and bar information
- Assisting with auditing of HR information
- Organizing benefits carrier marketing materials
- Producing employee benefit and other general correspondences and mailings
- Create on-line company store raffles in Vuture and coordinate distribution of purchases and gift cards
- Track paid Client Protection Fund receipts
- Arrange for HR Socials / Birthday Celebrations
- Update events on the WEI intranet page
- Prepare CLE documents for internal/client training
- Create electronic evaluation requests via Survey Monkey
- Maintain Electronic CLE files in iManage
- Program Announcement
- Presenter Bios
- Sign-In Sheets
- Evaluation Statistics
- Course Material
- Timed Agenda
- File CLE programs with the NJ CLE board
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Freshman, Sophomore or Junior in College, major or minor in HR or Business Administration preferred
- Excellent Microsoft skills
- Conscientious, well-organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking and follow-through skills; exhibits grace under pressure;
- Must be adept in maintaining complete confidentiality;
- Excellent verbal/written communication and client service skills;
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, tact and diplomacy and ability to interact with coworkers effectively and professionally;
- Strong team player but can act independently as required by the role;
