MedEdNow is seeking an Associate Medical Director (remote) with a PhD in the biological sciences and a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical communications. In addition to a strong passion for science and keep interest in scientific storytelling, the ideal candidate must have the ability to present scientific concepts and data in a creative manner at a level appropriate to the target audience. High competency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, is essential. Experience in oncology and/or infectious diseases preferred. Travel will be required in this position. PhDs, PharmDs, or MDs only need apply.

Required skills:

· Ability to understand the purpose and requirements of the project

· Strong organizational skills

· Scientific accuracy

· Keen attention to details

· Ability to work across teams as well as independently

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Good time management, and meeting deadlines and commitments

Responsibilities will include:

· Creation and development of a variety of scientific deliverables such as, branded and unbranded speaker slide decks, advisory board presentations and reporting, and multiple types of digital content including, websites, storyboards for MOA animation videos, etc

· Extensive client interaction; strategic alignment with clients and thought leaders

· Management of project timelines

· Participation in internal and client status meetings

· Onsite responsibility support live programs, including slide review and reporting

· Research for and development of proposals for new business, as well as participation in new business pitches

· Support content approval process by interacting with the medical, legal, and regulatory teams (experience with the VeeVa system is a plus)
