The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education has an immediate need for a Career and Technical Education Teacher. This position plans, executes, and evaluates the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class, or classes; performing these duties exercising independent judgment and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; does related work. This position is located in Cherry Hill, NJ. Please note that schools within OOE have a 12 month school year.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Experience with secondary-level special education and/or at-risk youth preferred.
EDUCATION: Possession of a valid NJ Standard Teacher of Career and Technical Education certification issued by the NJ Department of Education is required.
Ability to physically lift, move, and position students as needed.
LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
SALARY: $46,646.55 – $90,711.70 (Commensurate with certifications and experience)
