The OLI database is accessed through highly predictive proprietary software tools that enable actionable analytics and efficiencies in our customers engineering decisions. Primary responsibilities:In this role, you will:· Work on advancing OLI’s physical property and/or corrosion models to achieve the highest possible fidelity of representing physical properties and phenomena· Parameterize and customize the models for industrially important systems using OLI’s Mixed-Solvent Electrolyte (MSE) property package and/or OLI’s electrochemical simulation package for predicting corrosion phenomena· Provide leadership in the development of OLI’s project portfolio by providing technical expertise and identifying project opportunities· Work with clients to ensure that OLI’s thermodynamic modeling solutions reflect their process simulation needs· Work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of physical property researchers, scientific programmers and software developers.· Although no experimental studies are performed at OLI, work with research partners (universities, national laboratories) on combined theoretical and experimental studies that address important societal problems (e.g., critical materials, water treatment innovation, prevention of catastrophic corrosion problems, asset integrity, etc.) The WIFM (“What’s In It For Me?”)We built the database that engineers rely upon, and our success has been made possible by the dedication of our highly skilled scientists, engineers, programmers, and operations personnel, each of whom is an active participant in the OLI system.
