Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute is currently looking for CRNAs to work in our Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Suite. CRNA will provide pre-anesthetic preparation, patient evaluation and document pre-anesthetic evaluation. CRNA selects, prepares and administers anesthetic agents or other agents administered in management of anesthetic care. CRNA will work in collaboration with the ECT team. Graduate from an approved school of nursing and hold current Pennsylvania licensure. Graduate from an AANA accredited nurse anesthesia program. Successful completion of the certification examination or board eligible as defined by the AANA. Comply with the criteria for recertification as defined by the National Board of Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or successful completion of BLS & ACLS training and certification upon hire. Opportunities are for per diem.
