Assist Chemical and Environmental Engineers with Nitrification/Denitrification studies. Under the supervision of an engineer, collect samples and perform laboratory analysis. Troubleshoot and calibrate handheld devices as instructed by the manufacturer. Create/edit/modify Process Flow Diagrams. Routinely perform log sheet data entry and filing.
Required Skills/knowledge: The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office software and use Excel to create basic charts and perform data analysis. Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment is a plus.
The assignments will be roughly about 50% field and 50% office. The candidate will be expected to receive various tasks from the engineering team such as taking pictures of the process areas, construction progress, etc. The candidate may be also asked to organize and print SDS and other documents.
Valid driver’s license is required, and personal transportation is necessary.
Majors: Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or equivalent engineering majors desired.
