Under the direction of a supervisor, Information Technology interns complete a variety of developmental assignments in various Information Technology functions; Develops and enhances knowledge of area being supported, also, helping set up devices, filing employee documents, scanning, and digitalizing confidential records. The intern will also set up excel databased to track employees’ records.
Required Skills/knowledge: The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office software and use Excel to create basic charts and perform data analysis. Current applicable software and/or operating systems. Personal Computer/Network system practices, Microsoft (or comparable) Office Products used by the City, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Valid driver’s license is not required, and personal transportation is not necessary.
Majors: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a closely related field.
