Develop and apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with advanced material models in high speed manufacturing process involving contact of soft materials (Polymeric based formed films and non-woven, Cotton etc.) with metal like equipment. Able to define, implement and validate complex and relevant material behaviors for accurate FEA prediction. This includes using available material models in commercial FEA codes and/or developing new material models. Experience using FEA to predict manufacturing equipment life due to wear is desired. We believe you will be an excellent fit if you have * MS/PhD degree in Mechanical, Material Science Engineering or related area * 3-4 years of proven experience in related field * Expertise in FEA Material Modeling of soft polymeric materials (Formed films, Non-woven) and Naturals (example: Cotton) in high speed manufacturing * Solid background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with knowledge of ABAQUS or LSDYNA commercial codes * The rich technical curiosity and understanding to develop new approaches to big problems. * Good collaboration skills with ability to explain complex concepts in easy to understand language to non-experts.
