CONSTRUCTION MANAGER: The Construction Manager (CM) fills a pivotal role in the function of the company and is responsible for ensuring effective execution of the core field operational duties.
CORE OPERATIONAL DUTIES: Responsible for, but not limited to assisting the Project Manager in estimating, planning, organizing, evaluating, and scheduling the construction projects according to given specifications. The CM assists and monitors on site crews to ensure site build progress & quality control meets and or exceeds company expectations. The construction manager is responsible for daily on-site supervision of labor, materials, and machinery and ensures the project is on schedule and meets budget requirements. The Construction Manager is involved in regular meetings w/ Project Managers to establish and implement various quality control programs. In this role, some travel may be required depending on the needs of the associated market and project. The construction manager is required to hold an OSHA 30 certification and is responsible for enforcing OSHA safety requirements on the job site. CMs ensure that all the cost and production targets are achieved by adhering to all company policies, ES&H, OSHA programs.

§ Quality Control
Ø Provides technical support to in house crew’s and subcontractors when needed
Ø Provides necessary communication between Project Manager and on-site crews
Ø Reports the status and job progress of individual jobs to Project Managers
Ø Take progress photos
Ø Travels and perform site walks when needed
Ø Oversee job sites and workers to ensure highest level of quality and safety
Ø Reads construction documents and performs structural analysis
Ø Verify Job Safety Analysis is completed daily on all jobs by all crews on site
Ø Provides necessary communication between Project Manager and on-site crews when safety concerns arise.
Ø Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with company safety guidelines and procedures
Ø Requests certificates of insurance from subcontractors to ensure eligibility for work
§ Coordination / Scheduling
Ø Assists the PM in coordinating and monitoring schedule updates.
Ø Ensures jobs are being completed by crews in a manner that meets or exceeds company expectations.
Ø Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractor’s construction schedules
Ø Reviews BOM and identifies missing or additional material – ensuring material is ordered
Ø Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure delivery of site materials.
Ø Coordinate equipment rental
Ø Oversees and closes active permits upon job completion
§ Financial Controls
Ø Assists in requesting quotes from existing vendors / subcontractors
Ø Assists in requesting purchase orders for vendors / subcontractors
