Reports to both the Senior Property Manager and the Property Manager for Material and Logistical Services. Assist with inventory/surplus for IPO Warehousi ng operations. Assist with the processing/ inventory of university uniform orders. Responsible for the pickup and delivery of uniforms, vehicles and equipment from various vendors/ departments. Assist with daily warehouse, fleet, and office responsibilities, such as transporting university vehicles to and from services. The property assistant will be accountable for confidential material at times and keeping up with a fast paced work environment.
You must have a valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and successfully complete the University mandated Defensive Driving Class. THIS COURSE IS PROVIDED ONLINE BY OUR DEPARTMENT UPON HIRING. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) are required as well. Also, the applicant will need to be able to assist with lifting and moving of items such as furniture, copy paper and other items that are delivered to areas of Business Services.
