AlphaStruxure, an ambitious joint venture between Schneider Electric and The Carlyle Group, brings together industry-leading technical expertise and financial resources to deliver resilient, affordable and clean energy systems in the emerging Energy as a Service market. Based in Boston, we design, build, own, operate, and maintain sustainable energy supply and microgrid solutions with no capital investment required of our clients. We’re hiring a Development Co-Op, Microgrid Energy as a Service. The Development Co-Op is a catalyst and champion of energy transformation responsible for building value-creating Energy as a Service solutions alongside the AlphaStruxure development team. The Development Co-Op will lead efforts creating robust strategic programs that pinpoint approaches for delivering energy outcomes that improve sustainability, resilience, and cost predictability for clients. The Co-Op Development will work collaboratively with AlphaStuxure developers, solution architects, and investment associates as well as Schneider Electric (SE) Microgrid Competency Center (MGCC), Energy and Sustainability Services (ESS), and other SE business units as well as Carlyle Group, as well as various development and technology partners. The goal is to generate pipeline momentum in the Energy as a Service space.

- Position our value propositions into specific markets providing innovative, differentiated solutions that address client needs
- Articulate engagement messages throughout client touchpoints
- Facilitate support that builds opportunity pursuits and leverages use of relationship management systems
- Enable the development team to win business by uncovering key value drivers that support their pursuits
- Build programs for our business development teams and origination partners
- Establish the “Thought Leadership” position in the market and build credibility with customers

· Practical experience developing and executing strategy and business development campaigns
· A recognized leader who commands respect and can work with multiple stakeholders
· Deep interest and enthusiasm for sustainable and resilient energy, experience developing and executing microgrid projects
· Ability to independently propose and lead outreach initiatives
· Ability to closely collaborate on teams and lead teams; ability to lead collaborative proposal development
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
